TNG - Hotel

The conference hotel is the Hawthorne Suites in Santa Clara, CA. But the Hotel has sold out - completely.

We've looked around and found some rooms at the Homewood Suites in San Jose at a reasonable rate for those of you who are still looking for a room

The rooms at the Homewood Suites have the following amenities:

Studio Suites with King bed and sleeper sofa
A complimentary breakfast service.
Internet access
Free Parking for those who will be driving in / renting a car
3pm check-in and 12:00pm check-out

The best rate for this room is $99/night from Feb 15-17, and then the rate goes up to $139/night for the 18th (all rates subject to local city taxes). It does seem to require that you provide a Delta Airlines Frequent Flyer membership number, but joining Delta's frequent flyer program is free ... (Yes, the price has gone up very recently)

Please note that we do not have a relationship with Homewood Suites like we do with the Hawthorn. It's just a place we found that had some good hotel rates that wasn't a total dive.

There will be shuttle service available between the Hawthorn Suites and Edges, the event venue. Unfortunately, we do not currently have a shuttle option at other hotels.

While the Hawthorn Suites is working with us, we are only there for the rooms and not for any shared space for TNG4 events. The hotel is open to other guests at the time. Please conduct yourselves accordingly.

This goes doubly so for any other hotel you might decide to stay at instead of the Hawthorn Suites.

There are 3 major airports in the Bay Area (all international!).

SJC, San Jose International Airport is the local airport.
SFO and OAK are each a noticeable distance away from the conference hotel/facilities. (about 35-40 miles)
